James Louis Turner, a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away at his home in Brownsville, TN on March 8, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on July 17, 1961, in Brownsville, TN, he dedicated over 40 years of his life working on the production team at Lasco Fittings, where his commitment and positivity made a lasting impact on those around him. A memorial service to honor James' life will be held at Peaceful Chapel MB Church, located at 1221 Fairgrounds Street, Brownsville, TN on March 15, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Felton Williamson officiating.

James was a vibrant soul who loved life. He had an uncanny ability to bring joy to any gathering. Friends and family will remember his love of life and his enjoyment of being around and entertaining people.

He enjoyed a broad range of hobbies and interests, from sports and music to gardening and yard work. A true car enthusiast, James had a particular fondness for Mustang cars. He also cherished the time spent with his six grandchildren. They will carry his memory in their hearts forever. Alongside his love for family, James found comfort and companionship in his loyal dog, who remained by his side through thick and thin.

James is survived by his sons, Clifton Brown(Akira) of Jackson, TN, and Jarvis Green of Brownsville, TN; his daughters, LeCora Turner and Marcella Turner, both of Brownsville, TN; brothers, Alfred Perkins (Janice), Marvin Perkins (Charm), Cory Perkins, and Venson Perkins; sisters, Pamela Hunter (Michael), Angela Jones, and Deborah Joseph; as well as six cherished grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandra Turner; his father, Venson Perkins; his mother, Warline Turner Jones, brother Michael Turner, and sister Sharon Osei.

James Louis Turner will be dearly missed but never forgotten. His spirit and kindness leave an indelible mark on all those fortunate enough to have known him. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
