James' Obituary James Edward Smith, Jr also known as Bubba, age 29, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born in Memphis, December 8, 1987 and was an aspiring artist and musician. James is survived by his fiancé, Danielle Bevins of Humboldt; daughter, Serenity Skye Smith of Humboldt; father, James Edward Smith, Sr. of Jackson; mother, Tammy Hughes of Jackson; brothers, Kevin Smith and Hunter Smith both of Jackson and Tommy Wayne Jones and Dalton Jones both of Milan. Funeral services for James Edward Smith, Jr. will be conducted Wednesday, June 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Jerrell Dawson officiating. Burial will follow at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mifflin.
