James Edward Rickard

~~Mr. James Edward Rickard, age 90, passed away Monday, May 1, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Covington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, May 5, 2017, 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Rickard was preceded in death by his parents: George Allen and Lillie Mae Johnson Rickard, three brothers: Woodrow Rickard, Robert Rickard, Melvin Rickard and a sister: Linda Cothran. He is survived by his wife of 68 years: Catherine Richardson Rickard, Brownsville, TN, two daughters: Vickey Archer (Clyde) Covington, TN, Cindy Rickard, Brownsville, TN, two brothers: Paul Rickard (Maxine), Enlowe Rickard both of Covington, TN, one sister: Virginia Wright (Charles) Stanton, TN, four grandchildren: Shane Thurmond (Melissa), Terri DeLoach (Jerry), Rickey Davidson, Brandy Browder (Jay), seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
