James' Obituary
Mr. James, “Jim” Talmage Revelle affectionally known as, “Reb” age 81, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his home in Bells.
He was born September 7, 1935 in Maury City to the late Talmadge Revelle and Helen Castellaw Revelle. Mr. Revelle was a retired farmer, motor repairman for Martin Supply and member of Poplar Heights Baptist Church. He served our country in the United States Army.
Mr. Revelle is survived by his loving wife, Betty L. Pearson Revelle; son, Matt Revelle and wife Leigh Anne of Milan; two daughters, Jane Revelle Rossman and husband Brian of Chamblee, GA and Stephanie Jean Revelle Matlock and husband David of Brownsville; sister, Nannie Hopper and husband Montague. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Skyler Rauchle and wife, Blair, Summer Rauchle Paris and husband Steven, Tyler Rauchle, Jessica Revelle, Serena Kocourek and husband Kyle, Toni Wormald, Brandi Davis and Stephen Doyle as well as great grandchildren, Carley, Ava, Reece and Darcy Rauchle and Oliver Paris.
Serving as pallbearers are, Milan Ketchum, Mike Revelle, Tyler Rauchle, Sky Rauchle, Ricky Ketchum and Steven Paris. Honorary pallbearers are Drennon Adams and Revelle Powell.
Funeral services for Mr. James Revelle will be conducted Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in Nunn Cemetery with Military Honors. The Revelle family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour.
