James Edward Moore, Sr.

James Edward Moore Sr., age 93, passed away at his home in Bells, TN on June 5, 2023.  All services are under the direction of the Bells Funeral Home.

Mr. Moore was born May 28, 1930, to the late George Boyd Moore and Gladys Thomas Moore.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary E. Moore, son Brian Keith Moore, brothers Morris and Tom Moore, and one sister Betty J. Nelson.

He is survived by his sons:  James E. Moore, Jr., Steven R. Moore, daughter Greta Moore Thompson (Terry), sister Anita Barker; four grandchildren, Kelly Moore Arwood (Tim), Brian Keith Moore Jr., Hope Thompson Covington (Will), Joy Thompson Morrow (Paul), and nine great grandchildren, London Arwood, Cade Arwood, Whitten Arwood, Annie Covington, Ward Covington, Mayfield Morrow, Reeves Morrow, Tripp Moore and Savannah Moore.

A Special Thanks to Sheila Dorris, Cynthia Mathis and all his friends and caretakers in building two.

The Moore Family are honoring his wishes for cremation and no formal service.
