James Martin Brendan Scally

August 10, 1943 — April 26, 2023

James Martin Brendan Scally, 79, of Bells, TN, originally from Albany, NY, passed away on April 26th, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents John Joseph Scally and Lillian Scally (Geoghegan) and siblings Joseph Geoghegan Richard Scally, John Michael (Jack) Scally, and Lillian Agnes (Lilly) Scally, and is survived by sister Cathleen Mary (Kit) Scally, brother Patrick William Scally (Carol), daughter Jamie Quillen (Chad), sons Andrew Scally (Lauren) and Marcus Scally (Lina), and grandchildren Aaron, Morgan, Ivy, Wren, and Declan.

He served four years with distinction as a United States Marine during the Vietnam War from 1962-1966 and in the US Army Reserve Special Training Command. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the Marines never left him, as friends and family will attest. If any are fortunate enough to look on Heaven's scene, they will find the streets are guarded by our Dad, a United States Marine.
