James Moses IV

Mr. James Phillip Moses, IV, age 69, passed away at his home in Brownsville, TN on Saturday, April 30, 2016. A Memorial Service will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 10:00 A.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. A visitation will be held Monday, May 2, 2016, 5:00- 7:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Moses was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church. He graduated from Columbia Military Academy in 1965 and then attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and Lambuth University. He went to work at Smith-Jacocks Agency and later bought the business. Phil and his wife, Kaye, own Jacocks Property Management. He was preceded in death by his father: James Phillip Moses, Jr. and his mother: Reese Jacocks Moses. He is survived by his wife of 44 years: Kaye Moses, his son: J.P. Moses (Christin), his grandchildren: Jennifer Moses and Juliana Moses, his sister: Melanie Moses Sharp, his nieces: Reese Ferrell (Tommy) and Brandy Latore (Brian) all of Brownsville, TN, three step brothers: Lewis Crawford, Jackson, TN, Len Crawford, Bells, TN and Lexie Crawford, Alabama.
