James' Obituary Mr. James Prentice Hardister Jr., age 79, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2013 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson, TN. Mr. Hardister was preceded in death by his parents: James Prentice Hardister Sr. and Mable Bridgewater Hardister. He was a member of the Whiteville Masonic Lodge No. 148 F. & A.M., a member of Poplar Corner Baptist Church, and he spent his life as a car dealer. He was general manager of Bob Scofield Ford in Arab, Al and also general manager of Bob Scofield Chrysler , Jeep Dealership in Decatur, AL. Funeral services for Mr. Hardister will be held under the direction of the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Poplar Corner Baptist Church, Brownsville, TN at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be held in the church from 12:30 P.M. - 1:30 P.M. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens, Brownsville, TN. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Doughty Hardister, Brownsville, TN; two daughters: Teri Hardister McCann, (Thomas), Germantown, TN, and Suzanne Hardister Horsley, (David), Decatur, AL; a brother: Thomas Albert Hardister, (Brenda), Brownsville, TN; and six grandchildren: Jaclyn Nicole McRae, Dallas, TX, Tommy Ralph McRae III, Decatur, AL; Bailie Doughty McRae, Decatur, AL, Zachary Hardister McCann, Germantown, TN, Madeline Beauclair McCann, Germantown, TN, and Samantha Dylan McCann, Germantown, TN.
