James Franklin Davis

James Franklin Davis, age 83, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. Mr. Davis was born on July 16, 1937 in Haywood County to the late William and Mary Watson Davis. Also preceding him in death is one brother, Joe Alvis Davis and one sister, Louise Davis. He is survived by four sisters, Betty Neal of Brownsville, TN, Carolyn Ellington of Brownsville, TN, Dorothy Moore of Southaven, MS and Gail Ferrell of Jackson, TN. He worked as a truck driver for American Freight. He also served his country in the United States Air Force. The Davis family has chosen cremation and no services are planned at the current time.
