James Franklin's Obituary
Mr. James Franklin "Frank" Climer, age 75, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2013, in the Bells Nursing Home, Bells, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Revelle Climer and Addie Mae Vandyke Climer; a sister, Gloria Dawn Climer Skrbich; and two brother-in-laws, George Skrbich and Doyle Henderson. Frank owned and operated, along with his sons, Stephen and Scott, Frank Climer & Sons Paving Company in Bells for over thirty-three years. Funeral services will be held at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes Chapel in Bells, TN, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, with Dr. Barry Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Cairo Cemetery. Mr. Climer is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Stayton Climer, Gadsden, TN; two sons, Stephen Climer (Freida), Bells, TN and Scott Climer (Vicki), Munford, TN; their mother, Jean Booth Climer, Bells, TN; a daughter, Tracy Clement (Troy), Alamo, TN; two brothers, Hinton Climer (Joan),and Wayne Climer (Donna Sue), all of Bells, TN; two sisters, Betty Henderson, Bells, TN, and Lynda Climer, Jackson, TN; eight grandchildren, Jaclyn Climer Self (Nick), Stephanie Climer, Stephen Climer, Jr., Tina Climer Massey, Josh Climer (Katrina), Justin Climer (Sandra), Jerren Anderson, and Janea Clement; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes Chapel, Bells, TN, Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association, 912 Killian Hill Rd, SW, Lilburn, GA 30047, or to the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 1050 N. Parkway, Jackson, TN 38305 The family would like to say a special thanks to the nurses, aides, therapist and staff of Bells Nursing Home and to Dr. Wayne Rhear for the kindness shown to Frank and his family.
