Jack's Obituary
Mr. Jack Rainey, age 74, of Alamo, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Rainey was a member of the Liberty Hall Full Gospel Church, a retired employee of Anchor-Hocking Glass Company (over 25 years), a retired employee of Haywood Company (over 13 years), and loved to play his guitar and sing at local nursing homes. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 24, 2013, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon at Brownsville Memorial Gardens with graveside services to follow at noon with Rev. Walter Manley officiating. Survivors include a son, Billy Rainey (Becky) of Nashville; three daughters, Linda Randall (Charles) of Alamo, Pamela Walker (James) of Humboldt, and Theresa Sweat (Terry) of Crockett Mills; three brothers, Jimmy and Andrew Rainey of Indiana and Harold Rainey of Ohio; sixteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lilly Birdie Adell Anderson Rainey; his wife, Wanda Rainey; a daughter, Charlotte Gray; four brothers, Freddy, Bobby, Paul and Leon Rainey; and two sisters, JoAnn Lloyd and Geraldine Lewis.
