Ike Levy Sellari Sr. went to Heaven on April 8, 2017 to join his beloved wife Olga Ann Smith Sellari. He is survived by his four sons: Patrick, Hunter and wife Belinda, Tommy and wife Beth, all of Brownsville, and Ike Jr., of Jackson, TN; his five grandchildren, Elizabeth Sellari, Daniel Sellari and wife Ilana, EveAnne Sellari Campbell and husband Clif, Eric Sellari, and David Patrick Sellari; and his two great-grandchildren, Olivia and Avery Sellari.
Ike is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Hilda Sellari Poole, Milan, TN; two brothers, William Sellari, Memphis, TN and Tony Sellari, Cleveland, GA, and two sisters-in-law; Mrs. Shirley Sellari and Mrs. Jaqueline Smith, Brownsville, TN, and many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Sellari was born on August 8, 1927 to Artiode and Anita Sellari in Brownsville. He was reared by his father and (second mother) step-mother Ernesta Sellari. Ike enlisted in the Army at the young age of eighteen and served in Okinawa, Japan earning the World War Il Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal.
After returning to Brownsville, Mr. Sellari continued his father's legacy by running
Brownsville's first established factory, Sellari Natural Wax Company, and the Sellari Shoe Repair Shop making him an important part of Brownsville's business history.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 910 N. Washington Ave., Brownsville, TN with entombment to follow in the Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. in the St. John’s Catholic Church.
