Howard Sweat, age 76, passed away on August 20, 2023, at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN. He was born on March 19, 1947, in Haywood County. He worked as a Security Guard.
He is survived by two brothers, Ricky Sweat (Betty), Charlie Sweat (Alonda); three sisters, Patricia Ann Williams (Jackie), Janet Robertson (Felix), Penny Walker; his stepmother, Bertha Mae Sweat and one sister-in-law, Edna Sweat. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles Rayburn Sweat and Elizabeth Geneva Morgan and one brother, Bobby Sweat.

The family has honored his wishes for cremation and no services are scheduled at this time. All arrangements are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
