Herbert's Obituary Mr. Herbert Junior Lonon age 85 of Gadsden, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born June 21, 1931 to the late John Robert Lonon and Alma Lee Sorrells Lonon. Mr. Lonon retired from the State of Tennessee and was a member of New Life Church in Alamo. In addition to his parents, Mr. Lonon was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Lewis Lonon; son, Bobby Lonon; daughter, Robbie Lonon; three brothers, Herschel Lonon, Leroy Lonon and Howard Lonon; sister, Mary Sue Miller. Survivors include two sons, Timothy Lonon and wife Sarah of Humboldt and Mark Lonon and wife Brandy of Gadsden; four daughters, Barbara Reasons and husband Michael of Gadsden, Judy Feldmann and husband Augie of Brownsville, Thresa Kelly and husband Jeff of Gadsden and Penny Ricketts and husband Anthony also of Gadsden; two sisters, Dorothy Klyce of Illinois and Juanita Cole of Arkansas. Others survivors include thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Corey Lonon, Hunter Lonon, Trey Hayes, Hunter Taylor, Austin Lonon, Logan Oswald, Conner Ricketts, Austin Kelly, Joshua Hayes, Drake Elrod, Jeremy Reasons and Hunter Rinks. Funeral services for Mr. Herbert Lonon will be conducted Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Lonon family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
