Helen's Obituary Mrs. Helen June Legions age 76 of Alamo, TN passed away on Monday, October 10, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Helen was born on January 21, 1940 to the late Oren Buster Lockard and wife, Iva Mildred Skelton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Rex Legions; a daughter, Sharon Hayes; and three brothers, Charles Lockard, Bobby Joe Lockard and Thurman Lockard; and one sister, Francis Farrell. Helen was loved by many and was always there to help anyone that needed it, even if you didn’t ask. She was a hard worker, always going above and beyond the call of duty. She loved spending her days amongst her beautiful flowers, tirelessly working to make everything around her beautiful. She treasured her animals, and you could always bet when she walked in the room she would have a dog or cat following closely behind. Above all, she lived for her family. Nothing in her life was more important or made her happier than her family. Gone but never forgotten. She is survived by two daughters, Vivian Windsor and husband, Tim of Tiptonville, TN and Barbara Brewington and husband, Jeff of Henderson, TN; two sons, George Lockard and wife, Janet of Alamo and James Russell Hayes of Dubois, IN; one brother, Donald Lockard of Galitin; a sister, Kay Sandlin of Bay City, Texas; seven grandchildren, Justin Harber, Chris Hayes, Sarah Hayes, Derrick Scott, Bethany Scott, Brooke Viau and Will Windsor; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Helen June Legions will be held at Alamo First Baptist Church on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Chris Rigby officiating. Burial will follow at Alamo City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Bells Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Alamo First Baptist Church from 10:00 am until service hour.
