Helen's Obituary Mrs. Helen Kathryn Faught age 94 of Brownsville, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at her residence. She was born March 9, 1923 in Tipton County to the late Ira Douglas Smith and Ollie Murphy Smith. Mrs. Faught was retired from retail service and attended West Side Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death Lee Faught; three sons, Daniel R. Faught, Joe Faught and Walter S. Faught; two daughters, Edith Elmyra Avilles and Shirley Cook; one sister and two brothers, Eva Mae Hayes, Oliver Barnett and John Barnett. Survivors include four sons, Bill Faught of California, Aubrey D. Faught of Brownsville, Edward S. Faught of Fisherville and Roy Faught of Brownsville; two daughters, Alice Martz of Wisconsin and Dianne Lee of Brownsville. Other survivors include numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Woods, Jeremy Faught, Jeremy Jones, Billy Martz, Barry Faught, Justin Dornan and Willy Grant. Funeral services for Mrs. Faught will be conducted Monday, March 12, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens.
