Hazel's Obituary Alamo, TN – Ms. Hazel Baxter Hobock passed away on February 4, 2016 at Alamo Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired seamstress from Kellwood Company and a member of Cairo Baptist Church. She was also born and educated in Alamo. Ms. Hobock was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Franklin and Flossie Cash Baxter; two daughters, Ruth Hughes McKee and Anita Kay Hughes Martindale; and a sister, Margie Avery. She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Hughes White of Alamo; two sons, Glynn Hughes and wife, Kay Pope Hughes of Lexington and Ben Skyes of Alamo; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, David McKee, Danny McKee, Blake Bolding, Brandon Hester, Josh McKee and Tommy Mayfield. Funeral Services for Ms. Hazel Baxter Hobock will be held in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Dennison officiating. Burial will follow in Oakview Memorial Park in Alamo. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 12:00 pm until service time.
