Harold McCollum Booker, 73 passed away February 25, 2014 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11 A.M. in Mercer Baptist Church in Mercer, TN. Burial will follow in Mercer Cemetery. A visitation for the Booker family will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 from 5 to 8 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home and February 28, 2014, 10 to 11 A.M. in Mercer Baptist Church. Mr. Booker was preceded in death by his parents: Ellis Melvin and Rebecca Sue McCollum Booker. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carolyn White Booker, Brownsville, TN, a son: Michael Booker (Elsie) Hendersonville, TN, two daughters: Debby Booker Elston, (David) Mercer, TN, Becky Booker Nipp (Randy) Jackson, TN, a brother: John Booker (Anita) Sugar Tree, TN, three grandchildren: Justin Booker (Wendy), Westmoreland, TN, Emily Elston and Brandy Elston, Mercer, TN and a great-grandson: Jackson McCollum Booker.
