Dr. Gwen's Obituary Dr. Gwen Patterson Ellis, age 62, passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at her residence in Bells, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents: Rev. Oscar Patterson and Clarice Williams Patterson; and a grandchild: Samuel Shands. Graveside services will be conducted in the Walnut Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Bells, TN, Wednesday, October 5, 2011,with Rev. Tim Clark officiating. Visitation will be held in the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes Chapel, Bells, TN, October 5, 2011 from 9:00 - 10:30 A.M. Ms. Ellis is survived by two daughters: Becky Weatherholt, and Sarah E. Shands, (Jonathan), all of Bells, TN. Three brothers: David Patterson, (Joan), Virginia Beach, VA, Gene Patterson, (Mary), Corinth, MS, and Rev. Terry Patterson, (Bonnie), Bells, TN; six grandchildren: Lee Weatherholt Jr., Lindsey Weatherholt, Walker Dre` Brasher, Alanis Brasher, Chloe Shands, and Kylie Shands.
