Grace Mulligan

Grace Stewart Mulligan died on April 4, 2016, at Sugar Creek Retirement Center following a brief illness. She was born on February 17, 1919, in Brownsville, Tennessee, one of seven children born to Robert Edwin Stewart and Lena Gates Stewart of Haywood County. She married Woodrow (Pete) W. Mulligan of Haywood County in 1939. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Woodrow (Pete) W. Mulligan, her son: James W. Mulligan, three brothers: Dr. David E. Stewart, Robert E. Stewart, Jr., Everette Stewart, three sisters: Kathryn Stewart Highfill, Irene Stewart Barcroft and Aileen Stewart. She is survived by her daughter: Linda M. Clark (Tom), LaQuinta, California two grandchildren: Stephen P. Clark, Michael T. Clark and five great- grandchildren all of Los Angeles, California. Visitation will be held in the Brownsville Baptist Church from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016. Funeral Services will be conducted at Brownsville Baptist Church at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 9, 2016, with Rev. Bob Connerley officiating. The family will have a private committal following the service.
