Glenn Frye

Glenn Eugene Frye "Gramps" of Millington, TN and Star Tannery, VA ended his courageous 11 month battle with brain cancer on November 12, 2015. Glenn was born April 19, 1941 to Galen and Alice Himelright Frye. He loved his Family, his dog Prissy and the Virginia Mountains! He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Patricia Powell Frye; two sons, Darin Frye (Katie) of Millington, TN and Kevin Frye (Jennifer) of Bartlett, TN, three grandchildren, Hannah, Sydney and Henry Frye and one brother Bernie Frye of Mount Jackson, VA. Visitation will be held at Bolton United Methodist Church on Sunday, November 15, at 2 p.m. followed by the memorial service at 4 p.m. A 2nd memorial service will be held at Gravel Springs Lutheran Church in Star Tannery, VA in late November. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (www.aspca.org) or the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research (1100 Peninsula Blvd Hewlett, NY 11557).
