Geneva's Obituary Geneva Boyd Emerson, age 92, of Fruitvale, TN, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at her residence. Mrs. Emerson was a member of Cypress United Methodist Church, a retired clerk for Quinton Boyd Mercantile, a volunteer at the Crockett County Senior Citizens Center, a member of the church choir and a member of the Crockett County Senior Citizens Center Choir, her hobbies included cross-stitching, painting, photography, and travel . Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, TN, and 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Cypress United Methodist Church in Bells, TN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 9, 2014, at Cypress United Methodist Church officiated by Bro. Gene Burkeen with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Richard Cooke, Steve Bailey, Jimmy Wheeler, Randy Williams, Gary Spraggins, and Jodie Emerson. Survivors include her sister, Lonnie Maie Leggett of Bells, TN; a nephew, Charles (Dorothy) Leggett of Gadsden; two nieces, Judy Horton of Gadsden and Janice (Jim Ed) Judd of Nashville; two great nephews; two great nieces; and thirteen great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Ada Arnold Boyd, and her husband, Ben Emerson.
