Mr. Gene Alexander, age 81, passed away at his home in Brownsville, TN on Friday, August 7, 2015. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. A visitation for the Alexander family will be Sunday, August 9, 2015, 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. Mr. Alexander was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Alexander, his parents: Walter Lee and Esta Ellen Page Alexander, three brothers: Hobert Alexander, Bruce Alexander, Odell Alexander and a sister: Nellie Greer. He is survived by his children: Donnie Alexander (Gina), Fayetteville, NC, Sena Craft (Jerry), St. Louis, MO, Leah Jackson (Lane) Harrisonburg, VA, one brother: Jerry Alexander, Brownsville, TN, two sisters: Shirley Marbury, Brownsville, TN, Doris Smith, Ripley, TN, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Memorials are requested to the charity of the donor's choice.
