Gary Wayne Hensley

Gary's Obituary Mr. Gary Wayne Hensley age 70 of Alamo, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital after an extended illness. He was born November 29, 1946 in Crockett County to Lillie Merle Miller Hensley and the late Raymond Hensley. Mr. Hensley worked over forty years in the wholesale florist industry retiring from Metro Wholesale in 2015. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sons, Frank Hensley, and Barry Hensley and a brother, Harry Hensley. Survivors include his mother, Lillie Merle Miller Hensley of Alamo; grandson, David Hensley of Atwood; three brothers and three sisters, Charlie Cowan of Alamo, David Hensley of Finger, Jimmy Hensley of Trenton, Joann Horne of Trenton, Betty Ferra of Florida and Faye Owens of Jackson. Serving as pallbearers are Brandy White, Angie Hayes, Pam Walters, Christy Watson, Payton Newbill and Timothy Hensley with Savannah THE BOSS Newbill as an honorary pallbearer. Funeral services for Mr. Gary Hensley will be conducted Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home with Bro. James Keeton officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens in Jackson.
