Gary's Obituary Alamo, TN - Gary Gene Hayes, 63, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Hayes was a former employee of American Air Filter for over 20 years as a wiring specialist. He was also a truck driver for various local companies including Taylor Enterprises. Visitation for Mr. Hayes will be 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, and 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Bells Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, TN. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Bells Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Bells, TN, officiated by Bro. Allen Jowers. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery in Madison County, TN. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Paulette Joyner Hayes of Alamo, TN; one son, Jason Wayne Woods (Kristine) of Brownsville, TN; two daughters, Marsha Hayes Cobb and Crystal Hayes Walton both of Brownsville, TN; four brothers, Danny Hayes of Jackson, TN, Don Hayes (Leigh Ann) of Bells, TN, Charles Hayes (Denise) of Gadsden, TN, and Stephen Hayes (Charlotte) of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Jane Hayes Byrd (Chuck) of Medina, TN; and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Carol Cobb, Berkley Wright Cobb II, Holden Nathaniel Walton, Alyssa Brooke Woods, Ashlyn Lane Woods, Alina Kathryn Woods, and Sebastian Drake Woods. Mr. Hayes was preceded in death by his parents, Junior Hayes and Orene Hill Hayes. Pallbearers will be Shanon Hayes, Chuck Byrd, Jason Woods, Douglas Joyner, Kenny Lovelace, and Richie Hutchison.
