Gary's Obituary Mr. Gary Lee Edwards, Sr. age 64 of Jackson, formerly of Bells, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born on January 12, 1953 in Haywood County to Faye Carolyn Nanney Edwards and the late Billy Joe Edwards. Over his career, he was in furniture sales and owned multiple furniture and mattress stores. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rickey Joe Edwards. Survivors include a daughter, Alesha Edwards of Jackson; two sons, Gary Lee Edwards, Jr. (Angie) of Jackson and Justin Bradley Edwards of Bells; three sisters, Debra Talley of Jackson and Pamelia Carroll and Shelia Edwards both of Bells. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Joshua Edwards and Makenzie Edwards. Serving as pallbearers are Shane Buckley, Paden Buckley, Jonathan Stewart, Joey Edwards, Nathan Carroll and Loren Carroll. The Edwards family will receive friends at the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home on Friday October 6th, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. with Minister Paul Helton officiating.
