Gary John Dragstedt

Gary John Dragstedt, of Jackson, Tennessee, passed away on April 23, 2025. He is survived by his wife: Marcia Tucker; and children Robert and Jennifer Dragstedt; brother Roger Dragstedt; and sister Carol Breeser; grandchildren: Dylan, Tanner, Elliette, and Sylas Dragstedt.

Mr. Gary graduated from SUNY-Buffalo with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He had worked as a process engineer in various manufacturing plants in Ohio, Illinois, Tennessee and Kentucky, mostly in automotive manufacturing. He had been the engineer to launch the Jackson UGN plant for automotive interiors in Jackson. He was a beloved husband and father. He and Marcia had been together 34 years and recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on March 7. He loved nature deeply and had a kind, generous soul. May he Rest in Peace.

The Dragstedt Family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Bells Funeral Home.
