Fred's Obituary Fred Robert McDow, age 59, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at his residence in Brownsville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father: William H. McDow. Funeral services for Mr. McDow will be held Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Brownsville, TN with Rev. Harrell Nation officiating. Mr. McDow graduated from Haywood High School and attended Southern Methodist University and The University of Tennessee at Martin. He also served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his mother: Helen Rives Tripp McDow, Brownsville, TN; two brothers: William Ligon McDow and his wife, Anne Mertins McDow, Woodbridge, VA and Rives Tripp McDow, Malibu, CA; Niece: Molly McDow Duncan of Santa Fe, and her son and daughter, Holden Jett Duncan and Maisy Blythe Duncan; Nephew: Dr. Cameron McDow of West Palm Beach, FL, and his daughter, Lily Mariana McDow.
