Frances Coulston Simpson

Mrs. Frances Marie Coulston Simpson, age 88, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at her residence in Stanton, TN. A Memorial Visitation will be held in her honor on Thursday, January 21, 2021, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Frances was born on October 15, 1932 in Haywood County to James and Farie Coulston. She worked as a factory worker at Vollrath Group. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She loved working in her flower garden and enjoying the beauty of the flowers. She is survived by two sons, Ronnie Simpson (Theresa) of Brighton, TN and Rickey Simpson of Stanton, TN. She leaves a legacy of four grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Waldo Simpson; her parents, James and Farie Coulston; one brother, Pete Coulston, and three sisters, Helen Wright, Peggy Sharp, and Dorothy Sartain. The family has requested memorials be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908. All services and arrangements are under the direction of the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
