Floyd's Obituary Mr. Floyd Bernice Akin Jr, age 73 formerly of Brownsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at his home in Ripley. He was born on November 23, 1942 to the late Mr. Floyd Bernice Akin Sr. and Lizzie Mae Wells Akin. Mr. Akin was a self-employed real estate agent. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Diane Hayes Akin of Ripley, one son James Adam Akin and one daughter, Jennifer Clark, both of Jackson, TN.
