Evelyn's Obituary Mrs. Evelyn Webb Gaines, age 96, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009 in Covington Care Center, Covington, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents: Claude H. Webb and Myrtle Walpole Webb; her husband: James W. "Ted" Gaines; sister: Sarah Peeler; brother: Homer Warren Webb; and sister: Mildred Webb Cooley. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 PM, Sunday, July 12, 2009, graveside at Stanton Cemetery with Rev. Derek White officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, July 11, 2009 from 5-7 PM at the Brownsville Funeral Home. Mrs. Gaines is survived by her daughter, Mary Louise Culbreath-Taylor and her husband, Charles Taylor of Ripley, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
