Eva Faye's Obituary Mrs. Eva Faye Hendrix age 78 of Alamo, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born August 14, 1937 in Itawamba County, Mississippi to the late Lawrence G. and Ola Kent Sides. Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Melissa Butler as well as three brothers and five sisters. Mrs. Hendrix is survived by two daughters, Shelia Dycus and husband James of Gadsden, and Sherry Austin of Milan; one sister, Irene Rogers of Mississippi. Other survivors include six grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. A visitation to celebrate the life of Mrs. Eva Faye Hendrix will be held on Friday, February 12, 2016 in the Chapel of Bells Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with cremation to follow.
