Ernest Glynn Elrod

Mr. Ernest Glynn Elrod, age 53, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September, 24, 2022, at 4621 Eurekaton Road, Whiteville, TN 38075 from 2PM until 4PM. All Family and Friends are Welcomed to Join. Mr. Elrod was born in Chicago, IL on July 12, 1969, to the late Ernest Harlen Elrod and Frances Freels Elrod. He worked many years as a Machinist for Black & Decker in Jackson, TN. He loved fishing and especially spending time with his beloved Dachshund doggies, “Prince and Little D”. He was also preceded in death by one brother: Charles Freels. He is survived by one brother: Danny Elrod (Shelia) of Covington, TN; three sisters: Connie Benard of Whiteville, TN, Debbie Benard of Stanton, TN, Kay Johnson (Chris Phipps) of Whiteville, TN; and his best friend: Ricky Joe Hayes of Whiteville, TN. The Elrod Family are honoring his wishes for cremation and further information will be announced as it becomes available by the Brownsville Funeral Home.
