Ellis Book Taylor, Jr.

Mr. Ellis Book Taylor,Jr. age 85, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018 in the Alamo Nursing & Rehab Center.  A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in the Tabernacle C.M.E. Church. Burial will be private. Ellis was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie Taylor, one son, Calvin Taylor, one daughter, Janice Taylor, two brothers: Tom Taylor and Essie Taylor, three sisters, Sue Boyd, Francis Jarrett and Lois Shaw. He is survived by four sons, Henry Taylor, James Thomas Taylor, Ellis Taylor, III, David Taylor, two daughters: Dollie Owens and Ola Perry, one sister, Mary Cliff (M.C.), thirteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
