Eleanor Edwards

Mrs. Eleanor Brummett Edwards, age 91, passed away December 8, 2015, in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, December 11, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the Lea and Simmons Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her husband: Jesse O. Edwards, her parents: Benjamin Carl and Lois Jarratt Brummett, two brothers: Jack Brummett, Sr., Carl Brummett, three sisters: Frances Kelso, Jarratt Escue, Loura Stewart and one granddaughter: Traci Beth Edwards. She is survived by two sons: Donald Edwards (Cindy) of Murfreesboro, TN, and Michael Edwards (Paula) of Brownsville, TN, three grandchildren: Chris D. Edwards (Leigh), Sara Grace Edwards, Alex Edwards, two great-grandchildren: Trace Edwards, Emerson Edwards. Her caregivers: Doretha Bond, Patricia Currie, Kat Johnson, Annie Jones, Margie Ware and Mary Ann Douglas.
