Elaine June's Obituary Elaine June Hinsley Elaine June Hinsley, age 85, of Henning, TN, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013, at The Med in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Hinsley was born in Chicago, IL, to William Roy Knapp, Sr. and Jane Ann Skrobish Knapp, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her was her husband, George Calvin Hinsley, and a son, Tommy White. She is survived by three sons, Calvin Hinsley (Brenda) and Hardin Hinsley (Tay) of Stanton, TN, and Kevin Hinsley (Peggy) of Brownsville, TN; three daughters, Kathleen Chapman of Henning, TN, Colleen Archer (Dan) of Halls, TN, and Charleen Mashburn of Covington, TN; a brother, William "Bill" Roy Knapp, Jr. of Chicago, IL, and a sister, Iris Mattes (Erwin) of Hydesville, CA; 13 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, October 30, 2013, at 1:00 pm at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home Chapel in Brownsville, TN, with Bro. Ralph Brown officiating. Interment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Brownsville, TN, following the funeral service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2013, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm, also at the Brownsville-Bells Funeral Home Chapel. Read More Read Less
