Edward's Obituary
Edward Taylor, age 85, of Bells, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2015, at the Bells Nursing Home in Bells, TN. He was a United States Army Veteran, a farmer, a member of Providence United Methodist Church, and a partner with his brothers in their trucking business. Visitation will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015, in the Chapel of Brownsville-Bells Funeral Homes in Brownsville, TN, with Rev. Marti Bunch Jeffers and Rev. James Bittner officiating. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery in Madison County, TN. Pallbearers will be Don Hayes, Mark Outlaw, Gene Outlaw, Tommy Gaters, Tommy Williamson, and Keith Simpson. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Eubanks, Dean Cobb, Ray Joyner, Alton Williamson, Jimmy Outlaw, David Williams, Franklin Lee, and all current and former employees of the Taylors. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Jean Taylor; a brother, Arthur Taylor (Dottie) of Bells, TN; sister-in-law, Virginia Taylor of Bells, TN; brother-in-law Jere Chandler (Ruth) of Birmingham, AL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Sarah Alexander Taylor; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Effie Taylor; a brother, Lloyd Taylor; and a nephew, Bobby Taylor.
