Edna's Obituary
Edna Elizabeth Turner Miller age 96 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the home of her son.
She was born November 27, 1919 in Brownsville to the late John Turner and Edna Kinney Turner. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and member of Brownsville Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Denville Miller; daughter, Pat Miller Chambers; brother, John Rawlins Turner and three sisters, Carolyn Lea, Eunice Miller and Evelyn Haynes.
She is survived by her son, Richard Miller and wife Renee of Brownsville. Other survivors include her grandchildren, Allison Chambers Saxon (Oston), John Paul Miller, Jake Miller (Jessica), Dianna Moss and Tonya Hamlin as well as great grandchildren, Miller Baucom, Molly Saxon, Jaden Gibson, James Miller and Joshua Miller.
Serving as pallbearers are Jake Miller, John Paul Miller, Oston Saxon, Terry Chambers, Miller Baucom, Franklin Smith, Skip Carnell and Augie Brocker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Edna Turner Miller will be conducted Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Dr. H.K. Sorrell and Rev. Bob Connerley officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens. The Miller family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
