Earl Mason

Earl's Obituary Mr. Earl Lee Mason age 82 of Alamo, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Bells Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born December 18, 1935 in South Carolina to the late Robert Mason and Roxie Young Mason. Mr. Mason married Mary Jo Strauser May 7, 1974. He was a textile machinist and retired with the rank of Master Sergeant of the United States Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Survivors include his wife of forty-four years Mary Jo Mason of Alamo; step-daughter Pat Haynes and husband Roy of Alamo; step-son, Barry Goode of Alamo; daughters, Vicki Lovell and husband Butch and Betty Winslett and husband Jaime all of South Carolina; other survivors include two sisters, seven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. A memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Mr. Mason will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Bells Funeral Home, 5342 College Street is in charge of arrangements.
