Doss Vaughn

Doss Vaughn, Jr., age 71 passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2021 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A Memorial Service to honor his life will be conducted Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2 PM in the Spirit Filled Baptist Church in Ripley, TN, with Bro. Rocky Gilliam officiating. Mr. Vaughn was self employed as a Dozer/Heavy Equipment Operator in Ripley. He loved his family and spending time with them. His hobbies were fishing, coon hunting and working in his shop. Those left to cherish his memories are his wife of 43 years, Lucy Emerson Vaughn, Ripley, TN, a son, Chris Vaughn, Brighton, TN, two daughters; Jacqueline Conway, Brighton, TN, Tanya Scallions, Ripley, TN, two brothers; Roy Vaughn, Tampa, FL, Sonny Vaughn, Ripley, TN, a sister, Charlotte Koonce, Ripley, TN, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Doss Vaughn, Sr. and Margaret Midkiff Vaughn, two sons: Doss Vaughn, Jr. and Dean Vaughn.
