Dorthy Kolwyck

Dorothy C. Kolwyck, age 90, died on February 28, 2019 at Bells Nursing Home in Bells, Tennessee. She was born in Humboldt, Tennessee, however, she lived in Brownsville, Tennessee most of her adult life. She is the daughter of the late Ruby Christine Chamberlain and Ollie D. Chamberlain, who proceed her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Kolwyck and her daughter, Linda K. Tabor. She is survived by her son-in-law, Michael (Mickey) Tabor, her grandsons, Rob (Neely) and Lee (Jenny), and three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Shepard and Ellison. Dorothy and her husband, Bob, operated The Kolwyck’s Big Star in Brownsville,

TN from 1965 to 1991. She was a longtime member of Brownsville Baptist Church. There will be a grave side memorial service held in her honor on March 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Brownsville Memorial Gardens, Brother Bob Connerley will be officiating.
