Doris' Obituary BELLS, TN - Mrs. Doris Stephenson McLain, age 90 passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Bells Nursing & Rehab Center with her children by her side. She was born on May 15, 1925 to the late Burnice and Louise Pigue Stephenson. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank McLain in 1989. Mrs. McLain was raised in Owl City, Tennessee. She and her husband raised their family in Bells, TN; lived in Memphis, TN for several years and retired to Owl City. Doris enjoyed traveling, working in her flowers and especially any activities that included her family. She is survived by her daughter, Colleen McLain Laws; her son and daughter-in-law Roy and Patricia McLain; three grandchildren, Frank (Pam) Laws, Schuyler (Jacob) Laws Webb and Jennifer (Brian) McLain Owens. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Shelby Laws, Ben Laws, John Laws and Jack Webb; a brother, Bill (Mary) Stephenson and a niece, Patricia (Roy) Jacocks. Serving as pallbearers will be David McLain, Randy McLain, Jack Mandrelle, Franklin Laws, Brian Owens Jacob Webb, Ben Laws and John Laws. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church located at 55 West Main Street, Bells, TN with Bro. Dennis Davis officiating and her grandson, Frank Laws will give the eulogy. Burial will follow at Oakview Memorial Park. Bells Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. The family will receive friends at First Baptist Church in Bells on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM and again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the service hour.
