Doris' Obituary Mrs. Doris Faye Jernigan age 80 of Brownsville, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born on September 7, 1937 in Cross County, Arkansas to the late Walter Pilcher and Helen Milan Pilcher. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jernigan was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Jernigan and her brother Billy Wayne Pilcher. Survivors include her step son, Shayne Jernigan of Collierville; two daughters, Julia Miller of Texas and Shelia Ditto Allensworth of Arkansas; one step daughter Cheryl Rogers of Memphis; three sisters, Wanda Cole of Idaho, Catherine Parish of Arkansas and Debbie Brown of Arkansas. Other survivors include five grandchildren, Eddie Mainer, Chris Corter, Melissa Jernigan, Catherine Jernigan and Caroline Jernigan; and three great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Shayne Jernigan, Charles Allensworth, Eddie Mainer, Ray Poole, Josh Poole and Greg Killen. Funeral services for Mrs. Jernigan will be conducted Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Allen Baptist Church with Bro. Shey Lovelace, officiating. Burial will follow in Allen Baptist Church Cemetery. The Jernigan Family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour. Brownsville Funeral Home, 107 S.
