Mr.  Donald Stafford Markwart, age 89 passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at his residence in Brownsville, TN. A Funeral Mass will be conducted Monday, May 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be Monday, May 8, 2017, from 10:00 -  11:00 A.M. in St. John’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Doloris Meck Markwart, three sons: Arthur J. Meck, Jr., John J. Meck, Richard J. Meck, his parents and a sister: Rosemary Sorbi. He is survived by his daughter: Karen Crull (Gary) Mountain Home, AR, two sons: Michael J. Meck, Sr. (Sandra) Brownsville, TN, Thomas J. Meck, Sr. (Donna) Streamwood, IL, ten grandchildren: Gary Crull Jr. (Gina), Michael Meck Jr. (Angie), Michelle Meck (Kent), Crystal Meck Porch (Grant), Jason Meck (Crystal), Jonathan Meck, Matthew Meck, Jennifer Meck, Arthur Meck, III, Thomas Meck, Jr. (Michelle) and nineteen great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to: Kirkland Cancer Center, 720 West Forest Ave., Jackson, TN 38301.
