Dixie Stuart Freels

Mrs. Dixie Stuart Freels, age 75, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pine Meadows Nursing Home in Bolivar, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:30 PM in Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery. A visitation will be conducted Sunday, February 11, 2018, at 1:30 PM-2:30 PM in Harmony Baptist Church. Mrs. Freels has been a member of Harmony Baptist Church for many years, she retired from the banking industry after 45 years of service. She loved working in her yard with her flowers and adored her dogs.  Mrs. Freels was preceded in death by her parents: Hunter and Mildred Keller Stuart, Sr., a brother: Hunter Stuart, Jr. and a sister: Teri Colburn. She is survived by her husband: John “Buck” Freels, two sons: Greg Freels (Debbie) Whiteville, TN, Ken Freels, (Mary Beth) Whiteville, TN, a daughter: Ginger Prince, Brownsville, TN, a sister: Gail Johnson (Marvin), Covington, TN, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
