Dewey's Obituary Mr. Dewey Ferguson Reece age 84 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. He was born on December 31, 1933 in Lauderdale County to the late Rodger Dewey Reece and Stella Sanders Reece. Mr. Reece was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church and was a proud United States Army Veteran. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reece was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Fridley Reece. Survivors include three daughters, Nedra Lonon (Chuck) of Brownsville, Cindy Perry (Kevin) of Humboldt and Teresa Russell (Tom) of Brownsville; four sisters, Marilyn Brewer of Germantown, Rodger McClanahan of Brownsville, Gloria Turman of Birmingham, AL and Stella Gibson of Maury City. Other survivors include six grandchildren, Carleigh Taylor, Ware Lonon, Allix Lonon, Madison Eubanks, Dannon Eubanks and Reid Russell; three great grandchildren, Reece Taylor, Graham Taylor and Gage Lonon. The Reece Family would like to extend a thank you to Latonjo Booker, Dianne Brown and Bobbie Meux Serving as pallbearers will be Chuck Lonon, Kevin Perry, Ware Lonon, Ben Taylor, John English and Joe Hunt. Funeral services for Mr. Reece will be conducted Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of the Brownsville Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Connerly, officiating. Burial will follow in Brownsville Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The Reece Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour.
