Arlington

Deanne M. Taylor, 52, passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on March 11, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee.

Born on November 18 in Nashville, Tennessee, Deanne spent much of her childhood in Louisville, Kentucky. She had a deep love for music and singing, finding solace in melodies that carried her through both joy and sorrow. Above all, she cherished her children, even when the weight of her struggles made it hard to show it the way she wanted.

Deanne’s story is one of love and loss, of battles fought and battles surrendered. She wanted more time, to heal, to mend, to be the mother and grandmother she longed to be.Deanne spent much of her life battling addiction, a war she fought with both resilience and regret. She carried hope in her heart, always believing that one day she would overcome the obstacles that often took precedence over the people she loved. The moments of clarity, of laughter, of love, bringing so much light to a crowd, with every song she sang. We remember Deanne as the woman beneath the struggle: the one who sang from her soul, who dreamed of better days, and who, despite everything, never stopped hoping.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Don and Ruby Morgan, and her grandparents, Don Sr. and Jeri Morgan.

She leaves behind her children, Alex Barnes (Taylor), Samantha Barnes, and Chris Meyer, as well as her beloved grandchildren, Anna Gage and Beaux Ballagh. She is also survived by her siblings, Damon Morgan (Lisa) of Louisville, Georgia Morgan of La Grange, KY, and Dave Morgan (Shurrenda) of Byhalia, MS, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will forever hold her memory close. Her family prays that in her passing, she has found the peace that eluded her in life.
