David's Obituary Mr. David Lynn Whittemore, Sr. age 64 of Alamo, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence. He was born July 21, 1953 in Haywood County to the late Guy William Whittemore and Rosie Lee Hilliard Whittemore. Mr. Whittemore was a retired driver for Coca Cola, member of Alamo First Baptist Church and avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister and a brother, Thelma Miller and Jimmie Whittemore. Survivors include his beloved wife, Tamara Tinker Whittemore of Alamo; two sons, David Whittemore, Jr. (Chassidy) of Friendship and William Floyd Whittemore (Sonja) of Crockett Mills; two daughters, Amy Whittemore of Alamo and Valarie Ann Whittemore (Donnie) of Crockett Mills; one brother and two sisters, James Whittemore of Alamo, Patricia Brown of Alamo and Louise Allen of Bells. Other survivors include eight grandchildren, Ally (Ryan), Jesse, Tristan, Kaiden, Landon, Grayson, Isabella and Waylon. Funeral services for Mr. Whittemore will be conducted Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Bells Funeral Home with his childhood and lifetime friend, Bro. Harry Nolen officiating. Burial will follow in Floyd’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
