David's Obituary Mr. David Aaron Payne age 65 of Griffin, GA, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Sewanee, TN. Mr. Payne was born December 22, 1951 in Dekalb, AL to the late John Henry Payne and Opal Hightower Payne. He was a truck driver by trade. Mr. Payne was known for his funny sense of humor and his love for his family and friends. Survivors include his daughter, Kayla Payne and fiancé Geoffrey Mahaffey of Griffin, GA; son, Aaron Payne and wife Amber of Griffin, GA; two brothers, J.H. Payne, Jr. of Centre, AL and Jerry Payne of Brooks, GA; three sisters, Ann Miller of Huntsville, AL, Sara Denton of Graysville, AL and Martha Hewett of Griffin, GA. Other survivors include two grandchildren, Kinleigh and Wyatt as well as his, “Grand Pup”, Tess. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mr. David Aaron Payne will be conducted Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Berean Baptist Church, 2677 Highway 41 Griffin, GA.
