David Lynn Allen

Mr. David Lynn Allen, age 45 passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2017 in the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Funeral Services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 4, 2017 in the Zion Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 3, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. in the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. David served his country in the United States Marines and was the manager at Food Giant Grocery Store here in Brownsville. He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Allen & Virginia Jeaninne Smith Allen. He is survived by his wife: Darlene Holt Allen, Brownsville, TN, three sons: Elijah Holt Allen, Brownsville, TN, Cody Ghyers, Paris, TN, James William Tate, III, Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, three daughters: Kristen Nichole Allen, Huntingdon, TN, Victoria Alexandrea Shetler and Kristen Greer, both of Brownsville, TN, and four grandchildren: Ledger Bass, Ivory Ann Parks, Scarlett Parks and Christopher Coy Greer.
